Reporting To  Head of Support
Working Week Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm
Wage £18,000 – £30,000 (depending on experience)
Start Date ASAP

Job Description

Monpellier is an IT services provider based in the North of England. We cover a wide area predominantly North East and Cumbria, Manchester area and Scotland.

As the team grows, two positions are available in our software support department in Carlisle.

Initially, the role will involve working on first line support, helping to resolve queries from end users. This could either be by telephone, via email communication or via remote control access. We are dealing with live data from real businesses so an eye for detail is essential.

Full training on all software packages will be provided and in an ever-changing environment, there is always something new to learn or a new challenge to tackle. We provide implementation services and support on a wide range of Microsoft products so the opportunities are endless.

The successful applicant(s) will work and learn from the existing support team and there will be scope to specialise once they have settled in and developed their skills.

Ultimately, the successful applicant(s) could move to the consultancy division where they could learn to scope projects and implement new systems.

Progression

As the trainee progresses there will be opportunities to be trained in the various software packages we support and attend vendor-specific training course. Full-time employment as a technician and then further down the line, Business Software Consultant.
